3M™ Double Coated Tape 9737R is a double-sided tape mounted on a thin polyester carrier with a pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive that offers a balance of high initial adhesion and good holding power. It is mounted on 55 lb. (24.9 kg) densified kraft paper liner for easy release and manipulation during application.3M Double Coated Tape 9737R is a 3.5 mil (0.09 mm) double sided tape mounted on a 55 lb. (25 kg) densified kraft paper liner. In addition, it has a thin polyester carrier with a pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive that offers a balance of high initial adhesion and good holding power. It offers excellent temperature performance in various applications. When it comes to longevity, this tape will perform well up to 300F/149C in the short term, and up to 260F/127C for days or weeks. Results may vary depending on machine and web tensions, line speeds, nature of paper surface and application pressure. It adheres well to kraft and coated papers, and is commonly used for high performance splicing on paper, films and other continuous web processes. Notably, this product is offered in two colours - clear and red. The red version can be used for visible splicing applications.
